MATCHING TO LIFE

Heart to heart, Slowly read. As we look at the sad picture of life,  We see the sad breaking of people, Where humans, once full of life, Become unknown after being used up by the relentless  march of time. A tragic dance unfolds as one’s reputation, meticulously   built, Succumbs to the eroding hands of forgetfulness.   In this sad truth, a friend once lived, A tireless artisan in the realm of education. He was at the school from morning till night, A quiet builder trying to make the place better.  But his giving ups, like quiet sounds in the air, Were not heard, nor seen by those he wanted to help.   A beautiful soul, Joy was his appellation, Adorned the stage of existence. A workmate, a beacon of morality, and a friend to all, He left traces of smiles wherever his footsteps echoed.  Little did he fathom that his smiles, radiant as they were, Would be overshadowed by the ephemeral nature of  app...

WITH WISE HUMANITY, LEAD

Heart to heart, Slowly read. Being a follower means depending on the opinions of your leader, Being a leader means thinking for yourself. However, did you know that a leader’s thoughts can be misleading? Regardless of how charming and well-spoken their speeches are, When oil spills on the ground, the followers all fall?   It is sage to rely on your own judgment And not allow uncertainty to skew your thinking. Allow humanity to remain hidden in your heart, And only think morally and speak divinely. Behave and think as one who is trying to find peace.     Wealth can be tempting at times, But my dear acquaintances, put humanity first.   People will respect you for it as a leader, And our all-loving Father God will reward you.   Exploiting the poor leads to a curse that lasts for generations. However, helping the underprivileged brings blessings. Because nobody knows why nature created the social classes; Only God does. ...

CHRONICLES OF AGING

Heart to heart, Slowly read. A time will come when we are old and gray, A chip off the old block, they’ll call us someday. They’ll say we’re wise, a flattering name, But wisdom and age don’t always mean the same.   We’ll sit on rocking chairs, our bodies at ease, We’ll tell our grandkids stories, their curiosity to please. We’ll pour our wisdom to the village, our legacy to share, But all will depend on one simple fact: what we have left to spare.   They say, ‘enjoy your youth, cry at old age,’ But youth can be a trap, a reckless stage. If we spoil ourselves with pleasures, we’ll end up with a crowd, Too many mouths to feed, too many cries too loud.   But if we tend our fields with care, and water them with love, We’ll reap a bountiful harvest, a blessing from above. We’ll have enough to live on, and enough to give away, We’ll bless our old age with joy, and not with dismay.   When it comes to our brains, we should sharpen t...

THE GENIUS OF HER

She knew a lot, to forge darkness To call the devil for a convocation Around the middle tree Encircled by the serpent The genius of her The genius of herself Made gobshite of men rabble around her Like sand of the sea Procuring everything she were hawking The genius of her The genius of herself Made her receive trolley approvals Made her triumph Nobel titles Made her secure several jobs, a norm Made her triumph a lousy prize The virus The genius of her Nature imposes tears down our eyes, But reason finds it difficult

UGLY, GOOD HEART AND VICE

Heart to heart, Slowly read. In this journey called life, have you noticed, How our thoughts about people can be misleading? The faces we see don't always tell the whole tale, It's their character that truly sets the sail. The first time we meet, with the ‘ hallo effect ’, it's easy to think, We know someone based on that single link - ‘She's good’. But have you ever wondered if your perception is true? That appearances can sometimes be ‘ fallatic ’? Is the skin color a sign of wisdom? Does a smile always mean no one cries? Can tears show just how weak one might be, And can silence mean that someone's humble? Does leading mean someone is perfect? Does nodding mean everyone's always glad? Can a snarl mean someone's heart is cruel, And is generosity a Mask or a Tool? Can a clumsy person also be smart? Can wanderers have a deep inner art? Character Is More Than What Meets The Eye, It's a puzzle that takes time to untie. But, tell me, as we continue this ri...

SHATTERED DREAMS

Once, when I was young, I felt really happy. People like my family, teachers, and even stories told me I could do anything I wanted in life. They said, "You could be an engineer, a pilot, or whatever you liked." But as time passed, I learned that these were just empty hopes and lies in my country. The truth is, I can't be any of those things. I've seen other kids in school saying the same things I used to say when I was young – "I want to be a pilot, I want to be an engineer." The government influenced them, but they can't really support those dreams. Even if they could, there aren't enough jobs. They told us to learn for a better future, and we did. But now that we're here, that future isn't what we thought. There's no such thing as a better future; it's just false hope in this country. Even the people who have what's called a better future, like salaried jobs, face problems. They're taxed a lot and end up with loans. This is...

THE TRAP OF 'CONNECTION'

It starts with a smile, a nod of salutation, A moment of curiosity, a spark of interest to reflect. A debate over a topic ignites its progress, From awareness to respect, it begins to sow. A recognition arises, and a bond takes form, A conclusion of a found confidant, a custom. Opinions form, individual decisions made, All the while, it enfolds even the most guarded of shades. The company becomes a need, a craving to look at, Distress sets in when silence prevails, words untold. Before you know, the trap has been set, And you find yourself entangled, the price to be paid. The trouble of a lifetime then results, For connection is not always a breeze to choose. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• It is not necessarily, what you believe it is, And my dear young people, life is not just about money. Nevertheless, if it is, Ensure that you do it through legal ways. I pray that your connection be God, He is faithful

TICK - TOCK WARNING

Every time the clock ticks, it seems to say now, A reminder that time moves on, and we must follow somehow. Today is a gift, a precious treasure to hold, A chance to live, to love, to learn, to be bold. If you will hear his voice, a message to heed, Don't let the noise of the world make your heart bleed. For there may not be a tomorrow for you, and for me, Live in the moment, be present, and see. Because there's a warning to time, a call to action, To live with purpose, with passion, with satisfaction. Time is running out for all of us, it waits for no one, Make the most of every second until the race is done. Time is too short for indecision and vacillation, Don't waste a moment in doubt, fear or hesitation. Do not fault between two opinions, choose your path, Make every day count, and enjoy life's laugh.

LET YOUR ROBES BE A SYMBOL OF LOVE

Oh, Christian choir members, hear my plea As you dress up in garments of luxury Remember those who lack even basic needs And let your generosity plant some seeds Your beautiful robes and shining shoes Could provide shelter, food, and education, too To the underprivileged in your community And help uplift them from their poverty You sing songs of love and kindness Of selflessness and sacrifice So let your actions reflect those virtues And share your blessings with those in crisis Let your music not be just for show But let it inspire you to go And reach out to the less fortunate And help them rise above their current state For in serving others, you serve the Lord And your generosity will never go ignored So let your expensive apparels be a symbol Of your love for humanity, not just a fashion ensemble

ANOTHER YEAR OF GROWTH AND GRATITUDE

Another year has come and gone, I celebrate with joy and song, Grateful for the life I own. With each passing year I grow, Challenges faced and lessons to know, Blessed to have the chance to glow. My journey has been a wild ride, But with each day, I thrive and rise, I am proud of who I am inside. As I blow out my birthday candles, I make a wish that life never dwindles, May I continue to soar like eagles.

HOLLOW WORDS

She says, "It's going to be okay", But it falls flat, and fades away, I cannot ignore the pain that sojourns. Perhaps things will improve eventually, Nevertheless, I cannot move on at the time, Though the scars of abuse are still visible. Her words cannot fill the desolation, The void that grows, causing pain, Every second, a harsh reminder, nothing less. Loss and pain, a constant melody, The ghosts of yesterday - unforgettable screams, Tomorrow's sorrows, an unknown scheme. So when she looks with sadness in her eyes, And offers comfort in her cloak, I turn away, and hold my cries. I  suffer  daily...

THE ENDLESS CYCLE OF HOPE

As I sit down to write on this blank page, My tired body, restless heart, and numb mind employ, A space to speak freely, without fear or gauge. But the chasm between my heart and the paper, Leaves me searching for another remedy or redeemer, As words can't fill the void, a silence I must enjoy. I want to write of days with overcast skies, A weight heavy and invisible, a burden no one else conveys, But maybe today, I'll choose to rest and not to explore. Possibility, a word that offers hope and light, Yet, it's synonymous with fear, what-ifs, and terror, A never-ending loop, a spiral that takes flight. Some days, it wears you out, the misery you think about, Digesting it slowly, hoping for a better pull, Life is an endless cycle of hope, a push and pull. In the morning, like a valiant soldier, we march on, Hope programmed into our soul, a rhythmical song, But sometimes, the bleakness peeks out, and we feel incomplete.

EMBRACING THE DARKNESS

I am the darkness, feared and shunned, A place where light has never shone, The one you've been warned to run from. But in my depths, there's magic to be found, A place where peace and calm abound, Where chaos fades without a sound. Stay with me, and you might see, Beyond the fear and treachery, A world where you can simply be. For I am the darkness to your moon, The canvas for your stars to bloom, The breath of your soul's sweetest tune. I am not the absence of light, But a different kind of sight, A place where you can make things right. So come, embrace the murk and madness, For in my depths, there's stillness and gladness, And in my embrace, there's healing and wholeness .

FLEETING HOPES

I had seen this end before it even started, My heart knew the truth when the chat was imparted, Leaving my hopes face down and broken-hearted. The day you asked for a favor, I felt the butterflies, A moment I wished to savor, a memory to idolize, But deep down, I knew it was all just fleeting lies. Despite this, I knelt down and prayed, For a love that would never fade, Someone to stay and brighten up my days. Alas, my hopes were short-lived, Like a dream that I couldn't relive, Leaving me with a heart that grieved.

NEVER TO SUFFER SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO BE BLESSED

Never to suffer should never have to been blessed, For pain and sorrow weigh heavy on the chest. But in the depths of darkness, light is found, And from the ashes, hope can rise up off the ground. A life without hardship may seem ideal, But without challenges, we cannot fully feel. The struggles we face make us strong, Teaching us resilience to carry on. Though trials and tribulations may seem unfair, We learn valuable lessons through each and every tear. And as we navigate life's winding roads, We come to appreciate the joys and beauty it holds. So let us not curse the difficult times, For they help us appreciate life's sweetest chimes. Never to suffer should never have to been blessed, But through our struggles, we can rise above the rest .

TOGETHER IN FROWNS AND SMILES

If they never helped you frown, They should never help you smile. For those who only show up to see you down, Don't deserve to share your joy for a while. It's easy to be there when times are tough, To lend a hand and offer a listening ear. But where were they when the road was rough? Did they help you through your pain and fear? If they only come around when skies are blue, And bask in the glow of your happiness. Then perhaps it's time to bid them adieu, And seek out those who offer true kindness. For those who never helped you frown, Should never claim to help you smile. It's the ones who lift you up and never let you down, That make life's journey all worthwhile.

IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT MONEY WHEN THEY CALL

It's not all about money when the poor call you, They seek compassion and empathy too. Listen closely to the stories they share, Offer a helping hand, show them you care. A kind word or gesture can go a long way, To bring hope and joy to their day. Money can help, but it's not the only need, A little kindness can plant a fruitful seed. When the poor call out to you, don't hesitate, Be there for them, it's never too late. For a little love and compassion can heal, And remind them that their life has value and zeal .

COMPASSION

Amidst the changing tides of time, Remember when you were a student, in your prime, When you too needed help to navigate the way, And found a helping hand to guide you each day. But as the years go by and you grow old, And the spring of youth begins to fold, You may find yourself in need once more, And wish you had been kind to those you ignored before. So heed the call, with empathy and grace, And be a friend to those who seek your face, For a little love and support can go a long way, And make a difference in their lives each day. Let your heart be a beacon of light, And guide them on their journey, through the darkest night, For in this world of change and strife, We all need someone to help us through life. So listen close and answer the call, And be a hero to those who stand small, For in doing so, you'll not only help them grow, But also create a legacy that will forever glow.

BREAKING FREE

Though it pains me to confess, I find myself trapped in a cage. Bound by the patterns I once followed, The victories I once celebrated. Despite my confinement, My spirit remains free, Released through my speech, Fueled by my voice's energy. For though the hours may drag on, I refuse to be held down, My time on this earth is too precious, To surrender to the constraints around. So I raise my voice and proclaim, My freedom from the past's chains, And with each word, I break away, Towards a future unbound by pains. I choose to live a life unrestrained, To seize each moment, unafraid. My spirit soars, and with each day, I am grateful for the freedom I've gained. I refuse to be a prisoner of fate, For I am the captain of my soul's estate.

MENDING A SHATTERED HEART

To my future love, Be prepared to accept all the pieces of my heart, That were left shattered by my ex. Nevertheless, don't worry, it's not a big deal Because I will guide you on how to mend it with your sweet love. The first step is to show respect and care towards me, For love is all about understanding, And putting your lover’s needs before your own. So please take the time to truly understand me and respect my decisions. I believe this is not just my wish, But every girl's desire to have someone who understands them. This means you should accept when I am not in the mood to be intimate or when I need time alone to listen to music. You should also be comfortable with me hanging out with my friends. Most importantly, you should give me your undivided attention When I need it the most. You must make me Feel like I won't regret choosing you as my partner, And that I can trust and rely on you. Above all, love me with all you have, and you will win my heart. I can't...

THE LONELY ROAD OF GRIEF AND HEALING

A soul so consumed by grief, a crushed heart, shattered glass. A mind that is full with nothingness, A life devoid of meaning and elegance. There is no one to hold, no one to lead, No one to talk to, no one to confide in. I must travel a lonely road. With feelings of hatred and embarrassment. I despise how I feel on the inside; The sorrow and hurt I cannot disguise. The never-ending loneliness, The worry that I will never love again. I attempt to fill the spaces with noise, However, nothing seems to work. I wish I could simply let it go, The grief that I cannot seem to shake. Nevertheless, I continue to hope that eventually, I will find a way to cope. To mend my heart, to find my path, and To love again, whatever the price. Until then, I will keep looking For a method to get the affection I crave. Moreover, as much as I despise how I feel, I know that I will heal one day
