Our God shelters us from all alarms

Our God knows our needs before we ask

Our God gives us strength for every task

He is the Lord of all creation

He rules with love and not with coercion

He guides us by His perfect will

He leads us to the green pastures still

Our God is our refuge and our fortress

Our God protects us from the evil forces

Our God covers us with His feathers

Our God binds our wounds and makes us better

He is the source of every blessing

He fills our hearts with joy and peace

He is faithful to His promises

He never changes, He never ceases

He is our God and we are His people

He calls us by name and makes us His temple

He is with us always, even to the end

He is our Father, our Savior, our Friend

Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.

Lead me in your truth, and teach me: for you are the God of my salvation; on you do I wait all the day.

At times we have found ourselves gloomy about our lives Depressed up to a point where we feel that there is no divinity. Everyday sleeping late at the mid nights and waking up at early at dawns Just to limit time required by poverty to destroy us before our spells arrive - We fear sleep, for the more we do it, the poorer we become. Out hustling in the streets all day, Not all easy as we thought when we were schooling. Out here, life is our new instructor and teaches without breaks. Once, when I was young, I felt really happy. People like my family, teachers, and even stories told me I could do anything I wanted in life. They said, "You could be an engineer, a pilot, or whatever you liked." But as time passed, I learned that these were just empty hopes and lies in my country.
